10 Fruit Juices to Always Leave on Grocery Store Shelves
By now, it's should be obvious just how bad sipping on soda every day is for your health. You might think stocking up on different juices is a much healthier alternative. While that is, in theory, it's important you do your research. You don't want to fall victim to those seemingly healthy juices that are actually, well, terrible for you. That's right, there are plenty of troublesome drinks out there.
So to help you make the best choice when you're food shopping, we rounded up the worst juice options on grocery store shelves. SoBe Elixir Offshore Breeze
This cranberry and grapefruit-flavored beverage is a prime example of how you don't want to be fooled into thinking what you're sipping on counts as actual juice. While it does serve up some vitamin C, one bottle of this "fruit-flavored elixir" will have you guzzling down 63 grams of added sugar. Keep in mind The American Heart Association recommends men should consume no more than 36 grams of added sugar per day, and women shouldn't have more than 25 grams.
Simply Cranberry Cocktail
If you see "cocktail" on a juice label, know that's another word that should be a red flag. As you most likely already guessed, that means this juice is loaded up with sugar, and 29 of the 34 grams here are added. That's almost as much sugar as you would get if you ate three Original Glazed Krispy Kreme donuts.
Tropicana Raspberry Limeade
Tropicana's Raspberry Limeade might seem like a light and refreshing juice option, giving you a mix of sweet and tart flavors but knowing that each glass is packed with 24 grams of sugar, with 23 grams of the sweet stuff being added? No thanks.

Ocean Spray White Cran Peach
You will get some vitamin C from a glass of this juice, but you're also sipping on 24 grams of added sugar. That's more than you would get if you ate an entire Butterfinger bar…
Langers Pineapple Orange Guava
While there isn't any high fructose corn syrup here, there is still far too much sugar. It's another "juice cocktail," so that tells you all you need to know—skip!
Minute Maid Peach Punch
This peach-flavored Minute Maid punch has the dreaded high fructose corn syrup listed on its ingredients list. So you know that's getting an automatic "skip it and keep walking" from us.
Welch's Fruit Punch
This juice is offering up some vitamin C, but that doesn't counteract the fact that it's mostly made of filtered water and high fructose corn syrup…
Tropicana strikes again, with its watermelon drink that has water and sugar listed as the first two ingredients. It's supposed to served up a "refreshing taste of summer in every glass"—it's safe to say the 17 grams of added sugar are anything but sweet.
Simply Mixed Berry Juice Drink
See a beverage described as a "juice drink," alarms should be going off in your mind. Taking a look at this mixed berry-flavored beverage from Simply Orange and just one serving has 25 grams of sugar, with 23 grams being added sugar.
Naked Piña Colada
This smoothie juice from Naked might not have any sugar added, but 54 grams is still a lot to have in one drink. It does offer up 7 grams of fiber, but it also will cost you 310 calories. That's quite a bit from a drink, as you're most likely sipping this along with your breakfast. If you really can't resist, be sure to make this juice last a few days and not down it all in one sitting. We know, a challenge! But it'll be worth it.
