Taco Bell is Adding This to Over 5,000 Locations Nationwide
There are more than 7,000 Taco Bell locations across the country, more than 75% of which are now partnered with DoorDash. The popular Mexican fast-food chain and the growing food technology company have teamed up to bring customers access to Nachos Bellgrande, Quesaritos, and other menu favorites with no drive-thru required.
In celebration of the partnership, which includes more than 5,500 Taco Bell locations, registered DoorDash users can get 50% off a Nachos Party Pack and $0 delivery on orders of $15 or more from Oct. 15 – Oct. 24. The specialty nachos made their menu debut late last year. They feature tortilla chips, seasoned beef, refried beans, pico de gallo, nacho cheese sauce, jalapeños, guacamole, and reduced-fat sour cream. (While Taco Bell hasn't had to shut its doors this year, here are 9 Restaurant Chains That Closed Hundreds of Locations This Summer.)
"This partnership has been a long time in the making, and we're excited to offer Taco Bell fans across the country another way to get their favorite tacos, burritos, and quesadillas to their doorsteps," Toby Espinosa, DoorDash's vice president of business development, said in a statement.
Taco Bell delivery is also available through Uber Eats, Postmates, GrubHub, and the fast-food restaurant itself. However, the $0 delivery and 50% off the Nachos Party Pack with a $15-plus order is available only through DoorDash.
After Taco Bell announced menu cuts in July, a petition circulated to keep the Quesarito on the list. Surprisingly, it worked—kind of. Where's the only place you can now get beef, rice, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, and chipotle sauce inside a quesadilla? On the Taco Bell website and app.
This fate wasn't the same for the beloved Mexican Pizza, though. Hurry up to pick one up before Nov. 5 through any of the online ordering platforms before it disappears early next month. The pizza will leave the menu despite more than 80,000 people signing another petition to keep it. Other departing items include: the Shredded Chicken Burrito, the Shredded Chicken Quesadilla Melt, and the Shredded Chicken Soft Taco.
As for other menu items we miss, here are 15 discontinued fast-food sides we want back.
