Supermodel Chanel Iman Just Shared Her Butt-Toning Workout
Staying in runway-ready shape is no small order, and it's what keeps supermodel Chanel Iman so dedicated to her fitness routine, despite her busy schedule. In a new post to trainer Kirk Myers' Instagram Stories, the model reveals the exact workout she does to stay fit and maintain her enviable posterior.

She does tons of weight-bearing work.
In a video taken at Myers' Dogpound gym, Iman tones up her lower half and core with a series of floor-based exercises. In the clip, Iman is seen wearing a set of ankle weights as she bends her right leg and places her foot flat on a balance trainer ball while her back and arms remain flat on the ground. Lifting the opposite leg in the air so her torso and elevated leg form a 90-degree angle, Iman pushes up on the balance trainer with her right leg, lifting her back off the ground and her extended leg into the air.
She's a SoulCycle devotee.
After the birth of her first daughter, Cali, in 2018, it didn't take long for the supermodel to head back to the gym. Iman's husband, football player, Sterling Shepard, revealed that Iman had resumed her favorite workout routine just a few months after baby Cali arrived. "She's been working her tail off every morning going to SoulCycle," Shepard told Hollywoodlife.
She relies on protein-based snacks.
When Iman needs to tone up quickly, she makes protein a priority in her diet. Prior to her appearance in the 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Iman revealed the secret to getting Angel-ready to Modelina (via Vogue): "I drink a lot of protein shakes and do a lot of weight lifting," Iman explained.
She keeps cheat days on the menu.
Think models stick to a strict diet all day, every day? That's not the case for Iman. In an interview with Daily Mail Australia, the supermodel revealed that she has regular cheat days, but is mindful to keep her eating habits balanced during the rest of the week.
